When you give a URL, if you put the http:// in front of it, people will be able to click on it rather than having to type it into their browsers.

You have a good start, but your website needs some fine-tuning.

a. Don't tile the beach background - it's unprofessional and hard on the eyes. Either stretch it or find a similar picture that's the right size.

b. Oops! Your Contact Us page has no background at all.

c. You'd be better off creating an HTML table or frames. The sunset goes along the top frame, with your restaurant name and logo there. The navigation can be in a left frame or table cell. The body is in a large central cell. It does not run on and on. Make it fit without the user having to scroll so much. For example, each menu section can be on its own screen.

d. The writing needs proofreading. Example: "In all of our combination plates, we offer two scopes of rice and one scope of macaroni salad." Scopes? Do you mean scoops?

e. The writing could also be snazzier. For example, the above sentence would be better this way: "All combination plates come with rice and macaroni salad." I don't know that giving the number of scoops or scopes is a selling point. And they know it's yours, so no need to say ours. I know the header is why-us-instead-of-another-place, but you don't have to do that. Maybe, "All combination plates come with generous portions of rice and macaroni salad." (I can hear dieters complaining about all that starch - but I'm on my way to Hawaii - er, California - to buy a Butter Garlic Shrimp meal!)

Okay, even if you don't change a thing, it's certainly usable, which of course is the most important thing.

Yeah great effort. Just keep adding content along with some testimonials from people who have tasted your recipes and created them for themselves.

Also try and put an 'opt in' box to gather the names of those people who wish to participate in future recipes and you may then provide a newsletter for them.

Whether it free or have a private subscription service.

Have you considered putting a video on the site of  you preparing a recipe. Its not that difficult.

Be selective on you hosting services I use the site below for my sites but you may not need all what the provide. Any problems let me know

The truth might hurt.

This site is "ok" but could need more info/content as well as get rid of the distracting background of 4 palm tree pics. For a beginner its fine... for someone looking for a professional site yours would not qualify. (buy a nice template and transfer your content)

As for search engines.... they will find your site after you build back-links from web directories,blogs,articles,videos, ect ect

that will accept your site into their indexes.

PS.... I was not trying to be rude but only truthful as my main job is to "review sites" so im very blunt sometimes
