I am thinking of adopting a filly, and training it with one of my friends, Here are the three links!

My 1st choice-

2nd Choice-

3rd choice-

If you have any other fillies, that aren't over 1,200$, and aren't trained to much, I wouldn't mind you posting!

  1. definitely #2. she's adorable

  2. i would choose door #2--- cuz she's really really cute!

and she looks smart and curious

  3. If i were you i would go with 2 or 3.

    I used the details on the first horse to search for some horses on dream horse that might be a little bit more of what your looking for here they are;

    1) Plus side: Shes registered, has nice conformation, already halrter broke. Down side: She is a breeding stock paint.

    2) Plus side: Registered, has big Quarter horse hips. Down side: smaller then normal shoulders which does not make for a nice smooth lope and is a breeding stock paint.

    3) my personal favorite.

Plus side: Loud coloring, Registered, great conformation, halter broke, nice bloodlines.

If she ever wanted to show her in the APHA circuit she couldn't show her horse to its full potential because certain shows do not allow solids.

and color can be a major asset to placing in classes.

    read this before you decide to get sassy with me again;

  4. 1st choice: light boned, not balanced. Short back, very light shoulder, small hip. Sickle-hocked, too much angle on the fetlocks.

2nd choice: Good bodied, correct, nice hip and back. Looks balanced. Hard to see much from the angle of the photo, but this looks like the best one.

3rd choice: Light boned, over at the knees, small hip and shoulder, short back. She is a very pretty filly, but her knees would bother me. She may straighten up, but if she doesn't, she could have problems down the road.

  5. #3 looks like a good one

    good luck with it

  6. The weanling paint filly is cute, do you have experience handling and raising babies. Its not all fun and games, what about training? do you have the money to properly raise and invest in a reputable trainer? Vet and farrier bills to consider, also  alot can happen before you even get to riding age. Shes good quality so a proper boarding facility, I would suggest.    Just things to consider. babies are cute, but just consider your experience and what you want to do, If you want to ride right now, get a older trained horse. There are lots out there for good prices.

  7. #1 or #2. #3 is Impressive bred (I think) and could carry HYPP, plus she's only 3 months old and obviously won't be weaned for a while. #1 and #2 look very good to me, but #1 is ready to learn now, so I would personally go for her. Make sure that you are EXPERIENCED!!! with horses and training before you buy ANY of these fillies. Anyway, just a question, but why only fillies? Why not a colt? :) Just a question.

***ETA***: Sara - how is a breeding stock paint a downfall? Not at all. Color does not matter and shouldn't even be thought about when buying. Shame on you - you should know that!

  8. #3

  9. the first one is cute

  10. I would Go with either the 2nd or 3rd choice

  11. IF YOU HAVE GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH HORSES AND BREAKING IN THEN I WOULD GO WITH NUMBER THREE(3) AS SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE WILL HAVE GOOD CONFOMATION.

IF NOT THEM I WOULD GO FOR A TRAINED HORSE OR NUMBER ONE(1) BUT GET A PRO TRAINER.

HERE'S SOME OTHERS I THINK ARE A GREAT PROSPECT...

^^^^ LOVLEY COLOURS AND CONFOMATION, 1ST CLASS!

    http://www.dreamhorse.com/show_horse.php...

^^^LOVLEY CALM HORSE IN GOOD CONDITION LOOKS LIKE A DRESSAGE FIRST PLACE, OR MAY DO WELL IN JUMPS!

  12. your second choice looks the best.obviously money isn't and issue but she does happen to be the cheapes. plus she's from a shelter personally i see that as saving a creature but if you don't feel the same way my order is

    1.the quarterhorse

    2.the paint horse#1

    3.the paint horse#2

    good luck :)

  13. the 3rd, because as it grows it will get to know you more than the older ones.

  14. #3

the color like hers is sorta rare and the markings,,

some people will pay top price for a horse like this,,

i would buy the filly noww

  15. I would say Libby the Quarterhorse that you found on petfinder. She is halter and lead broke so she wont give you any trouble on the lead. You dont want a horse that is not broke on lead and halter. Plus I think Libby is very cute and she will make a great horse friend. And shes only 400$. I wish I could adopt her!
