What do you think of these names?

Séamus Paul Hartman Padraig "Shea"

Lachlann Aubrey Russel Padraig "Loki"

Connolly Jefferson Wilbur Padraig "Olly"

SO is Scottish / Irish and I'm Irish, so Séamus, Lachlann, and Connolly is for our Celtic backgrounds.

Hartman, Russel, Jefferson (SO is Jeffrey), and Wilbur are family names.

  1. I love the second one.

  2. I adore Lachlann Aubrey Russel and Connolly Jefferson Wilbur. I prefer Paul Seamus Hartman over Seamus Paul Hartman. You have excellent taste in names.

EDIT: I don't think it would be weird, but really Seamus and Paul are both great names so both sound nice with Lachlann and Connolly.

  3. i like Connolly Jefferson.

  4. I lovity love them all!

But my favourite is Lachlann Aubrey Russel.

It flows so well, and I love all the names. It's great that they have such meaning to you and your SO.

  5. I like Seamus Paul Hartman Padraig!

But Seamus is soooo cute I would call him Seamus.

Very nice choices you have !

  6. They're all really uncommon but nice =]

I like Lachlann Aubrey Russel Padraig "Loki". That sounds the best to me. Lachlann is the cutest, has a cute nickname, and I love the name Aubrey.

  7. Connolly Jefferson Wilbur Padraig.

I personally don't care for Wilbur, but whatever floats your boat especially if it's a family name.

  8. I too prefer Paul as a first name, and I don't think it clashes with Lachlann and Connolly.  Seamus isn't bad either, and is more unique.

I would avoid Shea as anything other than a term of endearment nickname (I.E. not something for everyday use).  It's a pretty common first name for a girl.  Wouldn't mention it, but you seem to be bothered about names crossing the gender boundaries.

Overall, I like all your names.  They sort of fit one another, but aren't too similar.  They have family history too, which is important to me too.

  9. I like Conolly Jefferson Wilbur Padraig...I don't like the other two though!

  10. i like the name lachlan coz then you can call the boy lauchy, i know a guy called lachlann and he's cool

  11. Let me adjust:

    Lachlan Jefferson Paul Padraig

    Connolly Paul Hartman Padraig

  12. Seamus is an awesome name but if you nickname him Shea, it's gonna go from being classy to hick like THAT.  Just call him Seamus.

Lachlann is a good name on the one hand but I think it may be too weird.  That said, I like Seamus, which is pretty weird too.

Connolly, I don't like so much as a first name.  I can recall having met a couple Seamus' and a Lachlan when I was in the UK but no Connolly; it's a last name, more than anything else.

I'd drop one of the middle names... two middle names just makes it too long, especially when you're choosing multisyllable names for each.  Jefferson is also a last name and not a first and would just be ill-advised, and Wilbur??  Maybe on Mr. Ed but not in the real world.

  13. I love the name Seamus!

  14. i like the first one the best, Shea sounds really cool!

  15. I love the name Shea, except I feel it's a little more feminine than masculine. I think Olly is the best name, but he might get teased for having a name so similiar to the dessert. I would go with something that would be a little easier on the kid, such as Luke or Jake.

  16. I like this one best:

    Connolly Jefferson Wilbur Padraig "Olly"

  17. i love them names from like diffrent countires and are like exotic (lol) is so pretty to me :D
