What do you think of these colors for a wedding?

Question

I plan on getting married in December, and I have a great love for the colors Red, Black, White. These are very beautiful colors when put together, and I've seen wedding cakes and decor with these colors. I just want some input... Because my wedding dress is going to be an eggshell white with Black embroidery on the trim part. The dress has a train and will have the black embroidery as well...

I think red and white would be cool for Dec. wedding.  To accentuate your dress, carry a bouquet of red roses.

If you want to compliment your dress, decorate in black and white and make the bridesmaids black dresses.  Leave out red.

lovely colors!

a black & white wedding with touches of red! red roses here, red roses there, red bridesmaid dresses...? anyway, i love the color combo, I'd even do it in my own wedding!

Those colors together can often look very masculine or very 80's so you have to be careful what you use where. Don't try to make everything black and red- keep a lot of white in it. My suggestion would be to focus on the black and white and use red as an accent color- don't go crazy with it. And don't use black and red together in the same item. Like for the cake, choose white and either black OR red.

I think it would be nice to have the bridesmaids in red and have centerpieces of ONLY red flowers with no fillers. Id' go with white tablecloths. You wouldn't want to have your girls in red sitting at a table with black linens. Again- no mixing red and black.  

I think if you stick with that strategy you can't go wrong! Love the dress, by the way!

Very beautiful princess-like dress.  Red bridesmaids dresses will be cute. I think black bridesmaids dresses will make you stand out more. A solid red roses bouquet for you would be lovely.

Red and white roses bouquets for the bridesmaids would differentiate yours from theirs.

The dress is gorgeous and will look great with a splash of red - maybe the flowers. Your cake could also have a similar style to your dress, white with black detail and then a red flower on the top or something like that. Have a great day, it sounds like it will be fantastic.

The colours go great together, but the black, red and white wedding is being done so often lately that its kind of boring...to me anyways.  your wedding though and you can do whatever you want.

This is a common color combination that works well together. My only advice is to always make sure you are using the same or complimentary shades of red. Don't mix pinkish reds with orangey reds.

The colors are beautiful and if you wanted to since it is going to be a December wedding you could add a touch of green(hunter green or a dark green) somewhere not to much as to take away from the red white and black but enough to say I am getting married around Christmas. You could throw green leaves somewhere or green candles. I hope that you have a wonderful wedding.
