  2. Why do people always bring up the price of gas in  Europe ?

I bet they dont understand how close things are in  Europe .

We went from Germany to France, Belguim and into Holland, and back to German, we only fueld up 2 times. Do they understand how close things are inI Europe ?

I say do an econonic boycott for 1 month.

  3. i think A lot of humans today take gasoline for granite. not just in our cars but lets take a trip to the local fast food restaurant. not only do you have gas being wasted from you traveling there, but also the gas wasted by the employees who work there, the fuel used to power the restaurant itself. the fuel used in delivery of the product to the restaurant. the fuel used to harvest the product that is to be shipped to the restaurant. the fuel used by the employees who work at those factory's. the fuel used in removing the trash left over from the restaurant, factory, and your car. if we stop using fossil fuels then our economy will go to c**p. which its kind of headed to anyway. i think we should try and invest in alternate fuel sources. but theres just too much money involved for someone to try and do it. so the price of gasoline is going to go higher and higher because were going to increase our dependency for fossil fuels

  4. high prices???

gas prices aren't too high, they're TOO LOW!!!!!!!

In Europe gas is about $6.00 per gallon (most of it is tax)

higher gas prices is the BIGGEST most effective way to coerce people to drive more fuel-efficient vehicles

higher tax on gasoline (gradually phase-in the tax)

raise it one cent every Friday for Regular

after two years we will have a $1.04 higher tax on gas

For premium, alternate between raising the tax one cent and two cents every other Friday

after two years the tax increase amounts to $1.56

different tax rates for regular and premium fuel; this would tax the poor less and the rich more (because the cars that require premium fuel are generally more expensive), so it is a progressive tax

Regular would be tax the $1.04 above

Premium would be taxed $1.56 extra

this tax would not apply to diesel fuel or E85

    I'm American btw

  5. its very hard for the working class..

  6. It stinks because I have to travel 35 miles one way to work.

  8. ya ive come to the point that we americans are way too glutness gas in irland is 8 we have to do more with less

  9. they are horrible...
