I was thinking about it lately and I wanted to name my kids something exotic unheard of and uncommon:

Kyoichi Ayem (boy) Davis

Kensiey Ann (girl) Davis

or

Caleb Taki (boy) Davis

Catrina Terri (girl) Davis

  1. I like your second set.  Life is always easier when you can pronounce someones name... but don't let the answers here limit you.  Unique and new names are what keep us all from being Jennifer's and Michael's.

  2. If you're going to use Japanese names for your baby, at least pronounce them right. Kyoichi is not said 'key-oh-eche'. It is said 'kyoh-ee-chee'.

Kensiey is nice for a girl, but I prefer Kenzie or Kynsey.

Caleb and Catrina are lovely names, but they're not exotic or uncommon AT ALL.

  3. if you are going for something unpronounceable you have succeeded!!!

i like caleb for a boy and katrina for a girl.

these are not common but not too out there---

    for a boy

    Dixon Caleb

    for a girl Katrina Rosalie.

keep it real, spelling counts and good luck!!!!

  4. id feel bad for those kids

  5. If you're going for something exotic, don't choose Caleb - it was in the top 50 most common boys' names for '07. Catrina is pretty common too, but it's usually spelt Katrina. Kyoichi and Kensiey are much more exotic than Catrina and Caleb.

Actually, Kensiey isn't very exotic either. It looks like a misspelling of Kenzie, which is meant as a nickname for Mackenzie (another fairly common name).

If you really want an exotic name for your child, try looking at these lists:

    http://www.exoticnames.com/

    http://www.babyhold.com/babynames/Ideas/...

Or just doing a google search for "exotic names".

If you like "C" and "K" names... I think you might like Kenyatta or Coral for a girl and Chinua or Coryan for a boy.

  6. well....uh

I think Caleb Davis is nice

just Caleb though not the Taki part

  7. uh they're a little difficult.

  8. those are some horrible names!

  9. They look hard to pronounce, nonetheless to remember how to spell.  There are a lot of K names out there, and unique ones still at that.

  10. it will be a tough life for that kid! always having to correct their name to everyone around them. I would suggest going with things a little easier to pronounce.

although  Caleb and Catrina aren't bad.
