  5. I say William Alexander! It's strong!

  6. David Alexander

  7. I like them both because David was a king, and William was knight  of the round table, both names are strong in origin, and  pretty to boot.

  8. David

  9. i like William Alexander.

  10. I would choose David Alexander. It

sounds so bold and fierce!  William

isn't so modern, but it is a great name.

  11. very traditional

  12. William Alekxander

  13. Oh my god I love them! William (Will) is a name I am considering for my baby if it's a boy (but praying for PINK this time). Alexander is a VERY gorgeous name. It's one of my favorite middle names. David is great too, my brother's name. I say William though ;)

  14. Very strong names. I like the name William and calling him Wills like the  Prince in England.

  15. Go with David Alexander.

    William Alexander sounds too colonial.

  16. They are both lovely!  Both names have a strong, masculine, regal sound.

Whenever I can't decide between two names, I try to consider their meaning, their popularity, their history, and their nickname potential.  William means "will/desire and helmet/protection."  David means "beloved."  William was ever-so-slightly more popular than David among baby boys born last year, but not enough that it should sway you one way or the other.  William has been borne by rulers of Normandy and England as well as numerous authors (Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Blake, Yeats, and Faulkner).  David is a biblical name, most famously borne by the Israelite king who was "a man after God's own heart."  William I think has better nicknames -- I definitely prefer Will to Dave.

Considering all this (especially the nickname options), I think I slightly prefer William Alexander.

  17. David Alexander =)

With William Alexander, it can be shortened to Bill Alexander and that reminds me of that painter guy lol

    So yeah, I like David
