What do you think of these song lyrics?

i love the song, but the lyrics are so pathetic!

"when you're gone

will i lose control?

you're the only road i know

you show me where to go

who will drive my soul?"

it just seems like the song is making it seem ok to be dependent on others, and just cling to others for direction....

thoughts??
