1. Friends will reject me

The people I hang around with and really tight with none of them wear hijab/ jilbaab and they take the mickey out of those that do. Especially the hijabies who check out boys and do dirty dancing at college.uni parties. Names like fundies, molvies, hypocrites and they cover coz they are ugly. If I wear the hijab then I will lose all my friends and have the p**s taken out of me as well.

2. Harm my career

I worked my **** of to get where I am now in my career. I got a big salary, status and I enjoy the respect I get from colleagues and community. I can’t risk all that for a piece of cloth, besides I would look weird in board meetings and work parties in the pub and nightclubs. InshAllah when I get married in my 30s and have kids in my mid 30s, I’ll cover as I’m supposed to then.

3. My family are westernised

No one in my family wears hijab, even my grandmother wears bright coloured stylish clothes. If I were to wear the

  1. its funny how they know it is obligatory but they dont do it. just shows what hypocrites people can be. they have to make excuses to try and hide their hypocricy towards Allah.

oh, and dont forget the excuse that its not even *required* in islam!!

  2. I couldn't care less about why some one does not dress the way I expect them to. I have bigger problems in my life to be concerned about.

  3. Thats interesting, however I don't feel that all non-hijaab wearing sisters use these excuses.Personally I do wear a hijaab, but those who don't,well it doesn't really make them any less of a muslim than I am.There may be other good points in them that I lack.Allah is the most forgiving most merciful, may He guide us all.take care & regarde'

  4. The wearing of hijab is not required

  5. Is hijab compulsory or is it the modesty..?

  6. More importantly why would women want to. As one  poster said some time back, many young women are now wearing the Hijab where they did not before, usually in their country of origin but come to Britain and start wearing one, why is my question?

  7. If you have any one of the reason from above...........   Dear sister you have to fear the power of great Allah and the h**l fire waiting for you......

It's a life only for some time... but that life after death ...will never end....

Allah may save you from the Evil thoughts

"" dear sister Nora thats website clearly denied the hadees and the life of Prophet Mohammed (pubh)

  8. at the end of day no-one is perfect, allah guides who he likes,it's not for us to judge!!

a person in hijab could be evil deep down, compared to a girl without scarf who could have pure heart!!allah knows best, soo please lets not judge our sisters!!

  9. I am probably guilty of using number 2 and 7 and I know that it is wrong but insha'allah one day that will change.

  10. I believe you can have your faith regardless of what you wear. Clothing was designed by man to fit the ideas of the community. Clothing was not decided by ones god. When living in a culture different then your own it is best to blend tastefully. If I went to a country where woman had to cover there heads and body parts I would do so in respect for their culture. As you know dressing as a British woman in a British society has created  less obstacles to your success.

  11. You have already got your answer it seems! What is your question then?

I do not wear hijab because it's not required.

People who wear it (because most of them are required to wear it by parents/spouce/law....not religion) and therefore they try to back it up with religion....since they wear it.

On top they make fun of those who don't because obviously they are jealous! ha

  12. First of all, its wrong to ask someone that "why you don't wear hijab?".Such questions give offensive feeling to others.Mostly, when people ask others this type of questions, they answer whatever comes to their mind.Mostly, such answers are due to the lack of knowledge of Islam.

  13. They are just that, excuses. There is only one answer: Fear Allah.

Haram, they don't want to follow their religion really, otherwise why the excuses for something fard?

  14. Omg I have soo many more excuses. I really want to wear it but there is something stopping me and maybe because I didn't wear it at a young age and none of my close or far family members wear it and even my friends, so I will feel that I am the odd one out. Besides I Iove my hair ( not the one in the pic I have long curly hair) and yh no.6 is very important and the one about the Career as I want to become a doctor, lawyer or pharmacist so yh soo many things. But the most important thing is that toy shouldn't deny that it is an obligation and ask God to guide you and help you.

    Bless!

  15. I think 9.Ive worked hard to get this figure is extremely shallow but i have heard the excuse-"I dress modestly",alot.

  26. I would like to say that most of these seem offensive to me. I don't wear the hijab and I have never used or thought of these excuses to back me up. Most of us muslimas who don't wear the hijab practice Islam very good and we are not like this. But to those who do, I can't say much, but Allah(swa) knows that none of these back me up. The whole going to hajj when I'm 60 thing and the attention from guys..ewww!! DISGUSTING!>>>is a piece of c**p. Whoever does that, ur really screwed up!!

I'm sorry , but this really upset me. May Allah(swa) show the right path to those who are like this.
