I would take a bet that road accident statics will now improve in Swindon whilst the chancellor will now have to find some other way of raising taxes without helping road safety!!!

Interactive road signs were found long ago to be more effective then cameras in promoting speed compliance!!!

Anyone worked out yet that by applying a retrospective  tax increase on older cars they will be devalued making them hard to sell on to buy a newer cleaner car so the owners will be forced to keep them and run them much longer!!!!
