What do you think of this Funny but "True" Cop Attorney Story?

Question

A defense attorney is questioning a Cop on the stand about his client. He was trying to discredit the cop's worthiness to his testimony.....

He asked the Cop if he trusted his Fellow Brothers and Sisters in Blue. He said "yes" more than anything. He said would you trust them to take a bullet for you? The Cop Replied "Yes" as I would do for them.

So the Attorney asked once more..... you state that you trust you fellow cops with you life? The Cop responded "yes" I already said that.

The Attorney then asked the Cop...Do you have a locker in the changing room for your precinct? The cop said "yes". The Defense Attorney then asked him if he had a lock on the locker? The cop replied "yes". The defense attorney then said. "So you state that you trust your fellow Cops with everything including your life, yet you have a lock on your locker in a room you share with the same people you trust with your life, Why is that?

I have heard that many times....  Good joke but I do believe that it is only a joke...  Defense attorneys don't usually try to discredit police officers as a whole, they simply attack individual officers based on things that may exist in their record...  However, makes a pretty good joke!
