Wasn't there a really gloomy Edgar Allen Poe poem about a raven? I'd pick a nicer name. You wouldn't want her called bird girl or black bird by kids.

I like the name but as a nickname. Ha, ha. My moms nickname is Bird. Although her name is Shirley. Her parents call her that. Just referring to the poem. How about Raven Victoria, Raven Calista, Raven Eloise or Raven Freya?

Sorry, I don't like it.  It reminds me of the kids TV programme 'That's so Raven'.  I think it's very American.

Raven is generic, why did you pick that?  If you want something unique and mysterious try researching poetry from the 1800's.  I am fond of the name Aramande, possible middle name.  To each his own.
