  1. people have all sort of disabilities and i think that if something helps them to function and to feel better, then it can only be a good thing.

    yes, it's a good invention!

  2. This invention will undoubtedly change the lives of many disabled people.

It amazes me that Israel never ceases to make important medical and technological advancement despite the adversity it has to deal with 24/7!!!

  3. This invention obviously bears long-term ramifications for the medical world and for handicapped people everywhere.  Israel obviously uses its intellectual and financial resources to better the world, whereas its enemies are using their resources for death, destruction, and war.

  4. Another reason why i support Israel, and i also find it funny how no Palestine supporters are yet to answer this question.

  5. Its wonderful, hopefully its just the beginning, until more medical advances are made in spinal chord injuries this is a great first step,my favorite uncle is paraplegic and hes pretty excited about this.

the poster above me obviously didnt read

"Other "robot suits," like those being developed by the U.S. military or the HAL robot of Japan's University of Tsukuba, are not suitable for paralyzed people,he said"

  6. I don't care where this invention is from, but I congratulate the israeli inventor.

Maybe it's the first prototype of the real "Iron-Man" suit.

By the way, I think that it's a bit stupid to be proud of the country where the invention comes from...

All countries invent important things, not only Israel (even if we know you are good in sciences and engineering).

Chinese invented dynamite,Romans invented roads,Italians invented telescopes;French invented cars, Americans invented planes, and so on...

  7. Perhaps it would be loud and hot. And also in need of a battery 24 hours. I would hope there would be no chance of shock if used in the rain. Also i think the invention only caters to the rich disabled people as the article mentions, "The product, slated for commercial sale in 2010, will cost as much as the more sophisticated wheelchairs on the market, which sell for about $20,000, the company said."

But any invention to help that of others is God given. I think a person invented it and not a country. Cheers to him for caring about disabled people.

  8. it's amazing what you can come up with when you don't spend all your money trying to destroy jewish people. palestinians, are you paying attention?

  9. Every invention that helps a disabled man changes his own whole world.

For him it is all the world.

Anything that helps a disabled man or woman, changes for good the world

  10. Ah,truly you are all a Light Unto the World. This is a useful device but nothing that hasn't already been developed in Japan. It would not in any event compensate for your people's other "contributions" in "inventions" such as Fritz Haber's poison-gas warfare or Bob Oppenheimer's A-bomb. Thank for all the help.

  11. I've helped a gentleman from India a while back, inquiring for him I was told the "exoskeleton suit"  is in it's final developmental stages.

"I never dreamed I would walk again. After I was wounded, I forgot what it's like," said Kaiof, who was injured while serving in the Israeli military in 1988.
