From the Jazz POV: They have been trying to trade Kirilenko to have money to sign Boozer next year. The players they're getting have 2 assets. Both Bargnani and Kapono are shooters who can space the floor inside for Boozer. Jamario Moon is a highflyer who can receive lob passes from Deron Williams. The 2nd asset is their contracts. They can waive Graham, not resign Bargnani next year for to make way for Boozer's contract, Moon is minimum wage. The only problem I see is the sharing of minutes.

From the Raptors' POV: They add depth and defense to their front court with AK 47. Also, they have been trying to trade Kapono right? With the addition of Jermaine O'neal, I don't see any minutes for Bargnani. The frontcourt duo of the Raptors (O'neal, Bosh) will be playing more minutes combined that that of Utah's (Okur, Boozer).

You can tweak the trade and explain the tweaks you made.

  1. 8, only because you're forgetting one major thing... Bargnani is a former Number one pick and if they're trading its gonna look like they're saying "we made a dumb descision and need to move on" which even if they're not necessarily, that's what it'll look like.

  2. I don't think the raps would do this trade. The reason is they love Jamario Moon and they want to keep him. They don't need AK47 but this trade is better.

This trade makes more sense the suns want D and they don't want Boris and Leandro and the raps don't like the bust Barqnani, Graham is behind to many other guard/ forwards and they've started to dislike Kapono so they get super bench players Boris and Leandro. The Jazz get a starting SG in Kapono then Korver is the sixth man and the get a starting SF in Barqnani and they get Graham a backup guard/ forward. This way they save money 3 mil this year and 7 mil next year.

  3. I was gonna put a 6 after I saw the trade.

But after I saw your explanation, I think I'd give an an 8. It's very well-thought.
