...in which she thanks our troops and invites them to Alaska?

Does this give you a favorable or unfavorable impression of her? Does it make you more or less likely to vote for McCain?

  1. This has nothing to do with the election but she is so pretty, kind hearted, and well spoken.

  2. Im already made my mind on voting McCain/Palin for REAL CHANGE!!!

  3. great video.

im really fired up to vote for mccain now, far more than ever before

    love this woman!

  4. I think she seems like a very intelligent woman.  She can also deliver a good speech and could debate anyone I think.  With her business background I think she makes a good vice president and would be able to take over if she had to.

  5. Favorable. After coming back back from a war zone, it would be nice to go somewhere just to relax.

  6. Good video....however, I do not agree with the republican policies of corporate welfare (tax breaks to big business) nor how the republicans do nothing for the people in this country who have no jobs or health care.  I just read that Palin is for drilling...there again I do not agree.  The US needs to become independent on fossil fuels.

My perception of the McCain team is just 4 more years of Bush...we have had 7 plus years too many!  Palin comparing herself to Hillary Clinton is totally absurd.  Palin's in a bit of trouble herself.  And I believe she whined that investigating her was not necessary. Troopergate in Alaska. Interesting that she lied about it...

  7. She seems nice, but I don't want her second in command. She really hasn't done anything. I've looked at her record and well, she hasn't really done anything. Nowm she's trying to hijack Barack's message, LOL. It's pretty pathetic actually.

    Barack's accomplishments:

    COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS:

Obama holds assignments on the Senate Committees for Foreign Relations; Health, Education, Labor and Pensions; Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs; and Veterans' Affairs, and he is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Obama made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In August 2005, he traveled to Russia, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan. The trip focused on strategies to control the world's supply of conventional weapons, biological weapons, and weapons of mass destruction as a first defense against potential terrorist attacks.

Following meetings with U.S. military in Kuwait and Iraq in January 2006, Obama visited Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian territories.

He left for his third official trip in August 2006, traveling to South Africa, Kenya, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Chad. In a nationally televised speech at the University of Nairobi, he spoke forcefully on the influence of ethnic rivalries and corruption in Kenya.

Obama worked with Russ Feingold (D–WI) to eliminate gifts of travel on corporate jets by lobbyists to members of Congress and require disclosure of bundled campaign contributions under the "Honest Leadership and Open Government Act", which was signed into law in September 2007.

He joined Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in sponsoring S. 453, a bill to criminalize deceptive practices in federal elections, including fraudulent flyers and automated phone calls, as witnessed in the 2006 midterm elections.

Obama also introduced the "Iraq War De-Escalation Act", a bill to cap troop levels in Iraq, begin phased redeployment, and remove all combat brigades from Iraq before April 2008.<68>

Later in 2007, Obama sponsored with Kit Bond (R-MO) an amendment to the 2008 Defense Authorization Act adding safeguards for personality disorder military discharges, and calling for a review by the Government Accountability Office following reports that the procedure had been used inappropriately to reduce government costs.

joined Chuck Hagel (R-NE) in introducing legislation to reduce risks of nuclear terrorism.A provision from the Obama-Hagel bill was passed by Congress in December 2007 as an amendment to the State-Foreign Operations appropriations bill.

Obama also sponsored a Senate amendment to the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) to provide one year of job protection for family members caring for soldiers with combat-related injuries. After passing both houses of Congress with bipartisan majorities, SCHIP was vetoed by President Bush in early October 2007, a move Obama said "shows a callousness of priorities that is offensive to the ideals we hold as Americans."

  8. The video itself creates no impact.  The fact she is a solid conservative and wants to drill in ANWR is good enough for me.

  9. I like her.   She is more down to our level than anyone else in this election.  I think she is sincere when she talks.  I have liked her from the first time I saw her on Glenn Beck.  I am going to vote for McCain now that she is on the ticket.  I was going to vote for Chuck Baldwin.

  10. Neither.

Now check out these videos and answer the same question:

  11. Excellent VP choice, very honest and sincere, wanting to clean up the mess of corruption in Alaska, energy companies, etc. She is a strong woman of character. The second video just proves more that she is on the winning team, truth be told, you can edit any video to show what you want it to say. She has a sterling reputation. She Will make the best VP this country has had in a long long time. This state trooper ex brother in law was on his way out anyway.

  12. He did a really good job of picking her. I hope McCain wines. Obama had better not win. If he does America is screwed.

  13. Hugely favorable.

  14. It is nice she has a son in Iraq, it is nice she sends a message to the troops.  It was a little insincere since she had to throw in a advertisement for the Alaskan Tourism industry.  We could have done without that.

  15. Seems like a video of any politician wishing the troops well
