  1. I think he should not have been denied it because of his colour!! That's outrageous!  If every white man was entitled to free education then so should he.  He's not asking for any special treatment, just the basic human rights.  With an education he's less likely to re-offend and more likely to do something worthwhile in society.

Would he be treated differently to a white man in Nigeria too?

He's not being treated differently because of his crime, just because of his colour, and that is wrong whichever way you look at it.

  2. he should be in jail and once sentence is up deported, and stamped passport as completely undesirable, why are we so soft on these people

  3. Nothing wrong in wanting an education so that when you have served your punishment you can get a job and not rely on handouts.

  4. With today's technology I think we can safely say that a convicted killer has beyond reasonable doubt taken away someone else's life, now in my book that person should then be terminated so as not to become even more of a burden on society.  It may be a controversial view but I don't feel that their rights should matter, after all they gave no consideration whatsoever to their victim did they?

  5. A bit stupid why should he get free education after taking someones life away. I think this is absolutely ridiculous!!!

  6. Myra Hindley got an Open University degree whilst she was in prison.

To be honest, if we are going to give higher education to prisoners and soldiers with no fees, then the rest of us should not have to pay as well.

  7. Maybe if he was educated he would not have killed.
