What do you think of this as a home based job?

Question

I was thinking of asking my local doctors surgery and dentist if they would pay me to call round their patients to see if they can still make their appointments. I realise that their patient info is private but it would just be names and phone numbers i would need. It would save the NHS and private practises loads of money in missed appointments. What do you think or am I dreaming :) ?

there is no way I would want some stranger that is working in his own home to know that I have a doctors appointment and noone to regulate what he is doing with even the smallest of details, confidentiality is of the upmost importance. no practice in their right mind would do this

This is typically done by the receptionist. They would certainly question the need for this service, and with the already tight budgets placed upon the NHS, etc, it's highly unlikely they'll bother.

Really dont think they would pay you to do that. if someones not going to go to an appointment they will generally call. If you miss an appointment with the dentist and dont tell them you have to pay, so I dont think they'll go for it. Anyway I dont think I'd want some person bothering me asking if I was still gonna attend an appointment. If they wanted to do this they would ask their receptionist to do it.

All I can say to you on an honest basis is that some of these online opportunities are proven to be scams that is very true therefore it is about researching to see what is genuine and what is not however some people think that online businesses are get rich quick schemes which they are not they take alot of work just like any business however the rewards for that work will be good. I have been a personal development and success coach for 5 years not and the most genuine opportunity I have found is a 3 1/2 year old company.

I think it is a great idea.  But why keep it only locally? You can involve more than one area if you like, since it will be run by telephone and you will soon find that you are inundated...!  You are a ripe candidate for advertising on this website - they are passionate about peole using their skills and ideas, why not pay them a visit?

Depends on how much you would need to be paid.  It may work out more expensive to them, than missed appointments. In my opinion you would probably stand better chance applying for a job in the surgery. You have to remember about the data protection. Give it a try though.
