I'm going to wade in here with a wild assumption,I suspect it is one of those family massacres where dad goes off his head and kills them all. Obviously I could be very wrong but the shooting of the animals as well as the family point to this(did you see the charred horses) Generally when it is done by an outsider for revenge purposes it's just the offending party that's taken out. The wholesale slaughter of all suggests someone wanting to obliterate any remains of their family. I think dad was into dodgy dealings and knew the S**t was about to hit the fan and went bonkers! But I am prepared to be wrong.

oh my god, that is so so so sad.. It has me thinkin cud the father have been depressed after his company went bust and did something bad?? i dunno, i hope not.. Poor family

very mysterious - maybe the family staged it all and ran away to some exotic country to start a new life...

lets hope that is the case otherwise the other options aren't very positive for the family...
