What do you think of this bedding?

My husband and I are 22 year old newlyweds and we have this bed:

Oh my GOSH that is so cute! The bed is absolutely GORGEOUS! And the bedding with it is so fresh and young, yet sophisticated.  You are so smart to buy it now when it's on sale! I can't believe it originally cost $400 JUST for the duvet!! What a steal!!!

That girl who said it looked "low budget" is retarded.  I bet she's just jealous that you have a gorgeous bed and you are getting beautiful linens for it.  She probably has something ugly, haha.

It doesn't go. The wood is too dark for that duvet.

Personally I think the duvet looks "old". You know grandma like. ick!

Don't you want something fresh and young. I mean you are young newly weds. Not only that the duvet looks low budget. Cheaply made. It just totally lacks. And white walls would be soooo institutional.

How does your husband feel about it. I can't really imagine that being top choice for a man.

I love the bed, and the linens, but not together. Your bed is more modern and the linens are more feminine.  I think a nice earthy color would go nicely with the bed and you will want a restful color for the walls, because white is harsh and cold and you may have trouble sleeping in a very white room. I would ask the decorator lady at the paint store to recommend a good bedroom color. Good Luck and Congrats on your wedding! :-)

The bed is gorgeous. You have excellent taste. The bedding is also very pretty. White walls would match well with this. You might consider an egg shell or off white because if you paint the walls white then get a new comforter set...will it still look as good. The neutral color of the egg sheel or off white will go with just about anything. Good Luck!

i really like it. and i really disagree with the person who thinks it looks cheap and low budget! not at all...

personally, i would go with a very light tan wall, or cream. white just seems cold. i know it sounds stupid but be careful when choosing the shade of white, you don't want your bedroom to look like it has hospital walls! make sure its warm, and has enough yellow in it.

I think the duvet is to light for the bed try darker or neutral colors with beige walls
