A tutoring service offers Physical Education tutoring for children of all ahes who don't enjoy their lessons because they feel they are behind. They also offer cross-curricular tutoring through PE/sport for children who can't focus and like to be active - e.g... active games for Maths.

Just wondered what you thought about both services they offer??

  1. I don't think there would be a huge demand for this service - most kids do perfectly well with the education they currently receive and the ones who are behind are the ones least likely to want extra tutoring.

  2. I disagree with the person who said it would only be used by kids with learning differences.  Children should learn through all 5 senses, and I think the PE classes sound great.  They would work for all kids, but kinetic learners would really shine in them.  I'd definitely sign my 4 - year - old up, as I'm a big fan of anything that makes learning appealing to kids.

  3. Sounds good if it works...any way of trying to educate and encourage children to study is good.In my children´s school they also practise maths while they do some games in the patio. It really works. My boy (aged 5) can solve some maths problems some 7 year olds can´t.It works!

Good for all kind of children as well...

  4. Any form of education for  children of any status must be good, and increase their learning capacity. But when it comes from fringe commercial organisations i get very suspicious as to their motives. The ledger with the profit and loss columns, has to be the biggest influence in their aims, therefore the end product can suffer badly.

I always feel that parental influence is the best motivation, perhaps with the PTA attendance for guidance.

  5. I don't think there would be a big demand for normal children. Possibly for children with learning disabilities. Good Luck!
