What do you think of this coat for the fall and winter?

Okay, I'm looking for a coat I can wear in the fall and winter for everyday purposes, nothing too fancy. You know, go to school, the mall, and such in. I live in New Jersey, but it doesn't get THAT cold, in the single digits at its coldest in winter.

What do you think of this coat...?

Should I get it in black or white? Do you think it looks too plain? I'm 14, btw.

very good choice. i like it in black. if you wanted to punch it up, you could always add a scarf (especially in winter when it's a little colder). but i don't think it's boring.

Yeah, its alright. I'm not fond of the big buttons and such, but hey, I'm not the one that's gonna be wearing it.

Oh, and black is definitely better. More practical, too.

I was thinking about getting it too... White for casual stuff, the black for dressier stuff... The only thing I don't like about it is the 2 buttons & that strip on the back, looks kinda odd. It will get plenty cold enough to wear it in NJ.
