  1. I went camping once and a snake crawled into my tent and I saw 2 coyotes run by. I will never camp again. T-T

  2. i go camping almost ever month and that would not last a day and would be very painful o you back.

Backpacks are expensive but they are worth it in the long run.

  3. First impression is not good.  What sort of camping are you thinking of doing?   Will you be carrying this very far?

Might not be too bad.  Check they haven't made a cheap imitation of one of the better known brands, particularly check they haven't saved money on things like the design of the shoulder straps.  Millets sell a similarly sized and priced pack,  the Eurohike Pathfinder 65:

Try on both before you buy.

  4. for a semi serious expedition DO NOT TOUCH  with a barge pole there is not enough adjustment on any of the straps and the shoulder straps are far to narrow and thin, go to a proper shop like Outdoors, Blacks, Millets, White Mountain etc. Try the rucksack on and ask for advice, you should treat buying a rucksack like buying a pair of boots, you would not wear a size 4 boot if you were a size 6 foot

  5. looks pretty and ok according to what's written in the site.

  6. Hello x Unique lady,

much will depend upon you physical build. If you are 5ft-6ins or above OK. But if you are a petite 5ft nothing young lady then the advertised item is not for you. that one is for the (year out of uni, round the word type of traveller).

Try for somthing a bit smaller for comfort, and cut down on your cargo. Then my dear enjoy your camping. there is nothing like it for getting near to nature. Good luck.

  7. it might get heavy

  8. Go to a propper camping shop. Anything you buy from camping from Tesco won't last. Unless camping will just be a one off.

  9. For day treks in the city, sure, I think it would be okay.  For multi night treks in the woods, I would consider upgrading some.

  10. No good. As tempting as the price is and the specs. Its not worth your money. sadly enough the good backpack that'll last a long time, comfortable fit and use usually cost no less than 8 times that.

Your best bet (and the only way i can say it) is so:

When buying a backpack, no matter the price, never order online. You need to go into a store and actually try the pack on and walk around with it. certain packs fit certain peoples backs. if you get a cheapo pack most likely it wont fit/ wont sit comfortably when wearing it and it'll cause more problems than it'll solve. i.e. back trouble, sore feet, ripping and such.

here's a site that have better backpacks that are worth the money, but dont buy it online. its just to give you an idea of what to look for.

hope you find what you're looking for

  11. If you just need something to pack your stuff into and you only plan to carry it from the car to the campsite (not for any length on the trail) it would be an OK bag. It might even last a few trips, but at such a low price I can't believe it is of any substantial quality. We have similar backpacks in the US. They are sold by large retail stores to people who are not serious about camping or are inexperienced. If you are serious about camping, my suggestion would be to visit a specialty shop that carries higher quality backpacks. They can make sure you are fitted properly for the pack and you'll get a product that will hopefully last you many years. The last backpack I bought was in 1999. I paid $300 (US) then. I've used it (and abused it) a lot over the past 9 years and it is still in excellent shape.
