  1. yeah shes pretty good

  2. Gaited horses cant jump very well, so mixed with an arab i would say no.

She would in no way place in hunters, unless it was in an arab show.

  3. She looks like a good horse, but i would ask them to come down in price over that broke to ride deal.

  4. the horse looks great and i think it would be worth spending money on. oh and i have an arabian and she is not spooky at all. i think any horse can jump really high if they like it and they fisicly can jump as high as you want it to. but i think it would be a good horse to buy.

  5. Any horse can jump. But it depends on how high up you are planing to compete. You probably couldn't compete very successfuly in open breed shows, but she is registered so you could show in just Arabian sanctioned shows.

She has the good proportioned body of an arab (top line seems a bit too flat, but then again, it's only one pic). I would like to her neck a bit longer, but at least it has good shape.

But are you really looking for a horse that you are going to have to train for a period of time before you can show?

I don't see why people think nine is so old. She is in her prime and it at a good age and mature mind for further training.

Looking at her, I think the price is a smidge high (hopefully nego.)

It's just up to you and what you are looking for.

  6. A horse with any kind of breeding that is gaited would be my last choice of anything Hunter English. Gaited horses are not one of the more flexable athletic breed of horses. Not to mention it would be a job to post at a trot on a gaited horse.

    But everyone has there prefereces.

  7. I would wonder why she's so cheap. Plus, I would agree that a gaited horse might not be the best option for what you seem to be looking for. I'm also not too fond of how she's carrying herself (instead of letting her legs be long and elastic she is sort of crunched up). Just an opinion.

by the way (to warner.m...) I don't know where you live but where I am you could've sold your tb for at least 30k.....just a thought

  8. She is a lovely horse, but along with the fact that she may not be well suited for jumping, it sounds as though she hasnt had as much training as you might like, and there are so many horses available right now. We just bought a great horse and though i did all my searching on the internet as well, I would  physically try out as many different horses as you can, because when you find the right horse, you will know!!

    Good luck!

  9. i dont like her conformation

  10. I Like her.....nice color and nice mix in breeding. Go for it.

  11. Honestly, if thats what you are into I wouldn't buy her. There certainly doesn't appear to be anything wrong with her, but for that price and with the way the market is, you could get something much more suited for what you wanted to do. Her temperament is a 5, which is medium, but you don't want something too 'hot'. She is also a bid older. I recently sold our 9yr Thoroughbred gelding who was coursing 3ft and showing and winning in jumpers and first level dressage for $3,500. So, I think there are more options out there.

    Good luck!
