What do you think of this life?

What is this life?

It drains you

Like a well cut vein

A torture machine-manmade

How can I move forward?

When I’m always

Watching my back?

Voyeurs watch as you fall

Cheer from the crowds

Hypocrites in the midst’s

Just flash a karma smile

Because there day

Will soon be coming

What happened to blue skies?

Breathing life into dreams

House on the corner

Room with a view

Everything is dehydrated

The chase for the dollar

Is nothing but an oasis

Leading you into the streets

As headlights climb upon you

Taking you underground

Life is about rejection-subjection

An electronic inflection

On the other line

Trolling for existence

In a empty space

What happened to cool nights?

The twinkle of lights

It’s hidden behind progress

Skyscraper buildings

Squeezing what’s left

Of any inspiration

I want to walk the streets

Painted midnight black

Breathe in the coolness

Feel the inner shiver

Fill my soul- Already running on fumes

  1. There is a lot of fascinating reflection going on in this poem, and there are some wonderful lines and images.  Although there is a somewhat melancholy air about these thoughts, it does not seem dark or despairing.  Intermixed with the sadder images there is "The twinkle of lights"and "blue skies breathing life into dreams".  This is remarkable. Thank you.

  2. "HI!"

Creative, imagery, fascinating, wonderful, It's exactly how I feel and my views on the world. basically my terminology is: We squeeze the life out of the existence of life itself. Dose that even remotely make sense, well i understand my obscure jargon language.

    WELL DONE : )
