Josue (Jah-sue-a)

It's essentially Joshua but in a more Spanish or Italian style. I was considering the name for a middle name. What do you think?

  1. I think it's fine for a middle name -- but don't use it as a first, as no one will spell it or pronounce it correctly.

  2. As the people above me said,it will probably not be said right. Why not just Joshua

  3. No people will pronounce it Jo-sue.

  4. i like it as a first name Josue Davis is cool

  5. I think it would make a nice middle name, it might be a little too different for a first name.

  6. Too confusing -- so many would see that and say, "Jo-soo".  It'd get frustrating for him and you.

  7. My only concern is mispronounciation.

  8. I like it. It also depends on what is the first name.  You have to hear them together.  But, many times you just call your son with the first name, so if you like this middle name, don't worry too much

  9. I think it's nice, but depends on the first name. I also like the name Josiah. I think either name will be nice.

  10. You may want to spell it different if you use it because when I see it I read it like Joe-sue. If you want to get the Jah-sue-a affect, try spelling it Jaysuah or something like that.

  11. I like Charles Quinn

but Josue is ok for a middle name.

also like Quinn Charles especially if the father is named Charles.

  12. No sorry...little to out there for me. I can see it being mispronounced.
