I know chicago fans might say NO WAY!, but let me break down the two outgoing lakers players going to the bulls.

Given the minutes vlad can put up nocioni numbers, not to mention he is an explosive player. True most of the time that explosiveness can be up and down, but he is a consistent defender and isn't bad from the 3pt teritory.

As for Luke walton while not the greatest player in the world for a 2nd round pick he still manages to put up close to league average numbers. One big advantage to luke is he is a great passer, that something only a few small forwards can say.

In turn the Lakers get Nocioni(a good SF back up to lamar) and a player(Aaron Gray) that honestly i wouldn't include but it was the only way i could make the trade succeed, i would prefer the lakers get a 2009 or 2010 second round pick.

  1. I think this trade is... minor.

  2. vlad can put up nocioni scoring numbers but he wont because he is inconsistent as h**l. nocioni is a way better rebounder and defender than vlad is. chucking 3s is all vlad can do and if he isnt making them, which is often the case, he is useless. which is why he is often on the bench. and he is no explosive at all.
