Our drama class was required to write one based on personal experiences.

No, no, stop. Stop crying. You cry...too much. I’ve been a good friend for two and a half years. I’ve been noble and patient and... saintly! I’ve neglected all my other friends, because you made me feel guilty for having them. I thought that with time, your... co-dependance... would ease a little, but you’ve only gotten more and more clingy. Half the calls I get from you, I don’t know if you’re going be fine, or sobbing in my ear about how you have sleeping pills in your hand like you did last summer. I can’t feel responsible for you if you decide to hurt yourself! You honestly don’t think that kind of talk takes a toll on me?

Sam, you don’t need a best friend– you need a psychiatrist! Life shovels **** on you especially, it’s true–but then you turn around and dump it on me, and I can’t take it! You’re burying me!

I can’t be your friend anymore. Or I’ll never survive high school...stop CRYING!
