What do you think of this movie plot?

Question

An American who has been imprisioned for 3 years in the middle east. He is given a chance at his freedom but the catch is that he has to plant a bomb during a presidential inaugeration. He arrives at the inaugeration (sp) with the bomb and is contemplating going through with the plan. He decides to hand over the bomb to the authorities and explains the story. His reasoning behind his decision is because he cant stand the guilt of killing innocent people. What he didn't know was the he was being watched the entire time. So now the manhunt is on for his death. (kinda cheesy)
