  1. Mm..I know this boy.

His name is from his culture in India, but he has a really long name. Like 5 middle names. His last name has eighteen letters, and every time he goes to a new class, he is forced to spell it and repeat it. People laugh at him, bug him about it. The kid is infamous becasue of his name. People refuse to talk to him sometimes because they're afraid of mispronouncing his name.

  2. Very beautiful name for a girl

To match a boys name will be difficult:

  3. i hate the name audra it sounds like a thunder storm!! and i dont like any of em sorry

  4. Where will you and your husband live?  There are many names that can be understood in different cultures.

Audra is a nice name - unusual, but not peculiar to English speakers.  It would work in an English speaking country.

Eilidh is too unusual for English speakers.  There is no English version.

Viktorija/Victoria would be good.  I don't know any Lithuanian and figured out the English version.

So, you need names that are recognizable in either language.

Ian is a good Celtic name for a boy.  It is a form of John, a name found in many different languages and cultures.  In some eastern European languages Ian/John is spelled Jan and pronounced "yawn".

Katherine/Catherine could be Katerina which would make sense in your eastern European country.  I am sure there are also forms of Elizabeth you could also use.

So think of where you will raise your children and think of any difficulties he/she may face if living in that country.  Go with universal names

that are common in just about all European countries.  Sometimes the spelling is a little different and the pronunciation is a little different, but understandable in other languages.

  5. My nana is from Lithuania and her name is Ona.

I like the name Skyla, Luna, Jayla,

  6. Audra is horrid - looks and sounds like you can't say Audrey properly; people will gt it wrong for the whole of her life

Eilidh is pretty (and celtic)- good choice

Viktorija spelt that way doesn't really work either - I'd Anglicise it to Victoria

Is VisGardinia  the surname or your maiden name? It makes quite a statement

Te whole thing's a bit of a mouthful though, and Audra Eilidh really doesn't flow at all.

  7. You may want her to stand out,but stand out how ? Have kids snicker at her on the first day of school in every class.   I had a name like this, and was always sick at my stomach the first day of school. Kids are vicious.

If you have to tell us how its pronounced... its not a good idea.    Its a headache .

EEKS  youre not even saying it AW-DRA youre saying it O-DRA..

Youre sentencing youre sweet baby to a life of torment.

  8. The only  name people will be able to pronounce is Audra. This name doesn't do your child any favors

  9. Audra's good. how are you pronouncing Eilidh?

  10. Well... since few people will ever use her middle names, and Audra is fine ... it's ok.

I do find though that, despite baby's mixed heritage, the extreme mixture of ethnicities in her name is a bit weird.
