I love it! but spelt Ally. I think it is a gorgeous name. I actually loved this name for my first daughter, I thought it might not age particularly well though. I thought of making it Alison, but I went off it. Gorgeous name though!

Nah I atleast think it's cute. I think of a fun and crazy plus caring friend who will drop anything for you. Well, that just pretty much described an Aly I know.

I wouldn't go for Ellie because of Ellie the Elliephant sorta thing. And Allie looks like A Lie.

In my opinion, it needs that second "L" to make it "Ally". Because "Aly" could get mispronounced as "Ah- Lie" I personally think it looks better spelled with an "i", like "Ali".

I like the name, but not the spelling. Aly would make me think of the Al-Eye pronunciation rather than the Al-E.

I love Aly! It's very sweet sounding.  I dont think it's too simple.. I hate when people name their kids like.. Nathaniel with no intention of actually calling them that-- just like nate or nathan.  So why not just Aly? It's fab!
