I just met a woman today at the park, and her little girl's name was Dylan. I really didn't like it, but I was wondering what other people's opinions where. What do you think?

  1. It's ok, I like the name Dylan for a boy. I don't really think it's a unisex name.

  2. It sounds like a total boys name. She'll have a bad life because people will make fun of her name. I should know!

  3. its another one of those new naming trends giving girls boys names

    like Dylan.Noah and Shawn

  4. Dylan sounds more like a boys name to me!

  5. I personally don't like it sounds more like a boy name. But hey that's just me!

  6. whatever not child with the fugly name

  7. I think it is plain bizarre.

  8. It's not my style. I prefer girl names for little girls.

  9. I don't care for it but it's not awful.  It's a matter of personal preference.

  10. Hate it!  I don't think girls should be taking over all of the strictly boy names and causing so much trouble and confusion.  There are plenty of girl names out there.

  11. i like it

i know girls named ryan and spencer

  12. I actually like it. However, I love the name the person before me mentioned: Delaney. I've forgotten that name. I heard it a long time ago.

  13. not for a wee girl now, but everyone to there own i suppose!!

  14. A lot of people are naming their daughter's Dylan, Ryan, and Logan. I think some unisex names like Jordan and Hayden are cute on girls, but not ones that have been strictly used on boys. I don't like Dylan for a girl at all.

  15. Hmm... It's hard to say... I actually kind of like it. I would never choose it for my daughter, but it's not too bad. It's kind of cute actually.

  16. It seems that the parent has just made a decision based on a trend. Dylan is definitely not a unisex name. And later in life its the girl that is going to suffer for having a funny name (children are cruel)

  17. I think its kind of cute, it reminds me of a cute little simple girl wearing pastel colors it also made me think of the name Delaney.

  18. It's too masculine for a girl I feel.  I love the name on a boy though.

  19. I like it . I dont know why but I do . Jordan and Dylan are the only unisex names I like . I think Logan, Jayden, and Spencer Should be used only for boys. And Hayden, Taylor and Payton be used only for girls

  20. Dylan is a nice name for a boy. I know many names can be used for either s*x, eg Reece (Reese Witherspoon/Rhys Ifans). Sometimes you can get away with it and other times you can't. This is one of those names you can't!!

  21. Don't like it.

  22. i love the name dylan for a girl, its something unique. i like names that arent ordinary names like rachel, amanda, jessica(my name), because they are just too common. when i have a child i want them to be unique and have more of a one-of-a-kind name. maybe its just me but i dont want about 10 different people in my childs grade with the same name as them

  23. I like it as a boys name. I don't like how some names are used for both genders.
