  3. I think it's really cute! But not so elegant. Kinda reminds me of Melody. I don't think it's ugly at all!

  4. It's a pretty French name. A friend of mine's name in French class is Elodie.

  8. I have a friend called Elodie...its a beautiful name!! Unusual names are the best ones...it's nice to be the only one in your class, work place with your name...i have 7 friends called Sarah...we don't even call them that anymore...we refer to them by last names...it sucks! lol. xx

  18. Wow - there must be a collective consciousness on Y/A - I was just thinking of that name today and wondering if I should ask how it is pronounced.  If you see my answer, can you edit and tell me?  Is it EL uh dee or    a LO dee ??

    I saw it in a list of French names, and I love it!

    EDIT:  "Ay lo dee" according to web site below.  

    I prefer EL a dee.
