Interpretation: It is better to live a life, dreaming dreams, than to live life cowardly like an ostrich with its head in the dirt.

it would be better to say 'buried in the sand" if you are alluding to an ostrich.

Your interpretation sounds good, but I'd add that burying your head in the dirt would kinda make you dead.

It really carries a profound message. But you need to clarity the "buried in the dirt" part as if if not for your interpretation, this part can be wrongly understood.

To me, its saying that its better to live your life dreaming and being happy then to live your life not trying or not fufilling your dreams and just trying to get by.
