  1. Where do you get liar from that picture?  I like the picture.

alurt_rekoob- What exactly was that "something else" that she spent the money on?

  2. Pretty good, it shows she has a sense of humor.

  3. Im not a fan of Palin, but I think im missing something...

  4. OMG!! that is soooo funny because i answered a question about her a few minutes ago and said she' from Nowhere, Alaska

haha if you dont believe me read my answers

  5. Palin touted her reformer credentials during her recent speech, saying among other things that she had said "thanks but no thanks" to government funding to support the infamous $398 million "Bridge to Nowhere" - a bridge connecting Ketchikan in Alaska to an island with a mere 50 residents that already had an airport on it.

In fact, she supported the project when running for governor in 2006.  She is now saying that she stopped the project because she opposes the practice of earmarking, as does McCain.  This picture is from her 2006 campaign, before her stance conveniently flip-flopped.

  6. Hey, I think I visited Nowhere, Alaska, while I was stationed at Ft. Wainwright...

    Thanks for posting the pic!

And yeah, the picture does humanize Palin a bit more...good job!

  7. I think it looks like Palin is holding up a humerus sweatshirt at a local setting/event in Alaska.

  8. She was for it before she was against it.

  9. Are you kidding?

  10. Sarah supported the infamous "bridge to nowhere". When the country first learned of it and nicknamed it the bridge to nowhere, her first reaction was to defiantly stand up for the bridge and tell the people there that it was offensive that people were calling the place "nowhere". However, when the public outcry continued, Palin flip flopped and abandoned the bridge, though she kept the money and spent it elsewhere. Now she boasts that she's a reformer who stopped the bridge to nowhere.

    Palin loves pork-barrel spending.

  11. Yep.  I get it.  She's not a reformer.  She is FOR all the earmarks she can get for her state.  She was for "the bridge to nowhere" while she was running for governor, but changed her mind when the funding was denied.  However, she kept the money from the US taxpayers and spent it on something else.  Hypocrite also comes to mind for me.

  12. I want to know your rationale for associating the word "liar" with that photo.
