The Scene – Concerning Happiness
Faith-
To the old man who’s seen it all,
To the newborn child who’s innocence is devout.
To the sad man who dreads the world,
To the exuberant fellow who has mastered his limits.
To the man who is controlled by fear, and
To the man who exceeds his dreams!
When all stood side-by-side,
All that shows is what meets the eye.
For, what meets the eye can be deceiving,
But what’s deceiving is they’re only just breathing?
In our lives we go through much,
And in our lives we struggle with such.
In our lives we feed desire,
We buy the Porsche and make it fire!
We all feel great emotion
And we suffer from tragic loss.
But does the sad man not look like the happy fellow?
And is the fearing man not beating the same heart as the exceeding man?
So if we judge just from looks
And we live to conform to society
If we live a life of sadness
Or we live a life of cheerfulness!
Does our heart not beat the same tune?
And does our corpse not look the same?
For which path you chose is up to you
But ask the question to only, yourself…
What is the difference from the sad man and the happy man?
From the newborn child to the old, wise man
Is it in our mind or is it in our hand?
