Our dog of 17 years passed Wednesdayensday night sadly of congestive heart failure. We did eveything possible to save her just to be able to get a few more months but her body was weak and she was ready to go.She had a wonderful life that most dogs can only dream of and lived it to the fullest until she got sick 2 weeks ago.She was loved and she will be dearly missed. My sister wrote this poem and I am going to add some pictures of Ginger and frame it for all of us she was part of our family.

A Prayer For Ginger Lynn

Dear GOD I know I have an angel that belongs to you here on earth

I pray for some more time with her

I have loved her since her birth

Dear GOD I know you love her but I love her to

Give me a few more years before she comes to live with you

Dear GOD I know she is one of you angels even though she doesn't have wings

I see you in her eyes she makes my heart sing

Dear GOD how can I live without her she's been there all my life

So I pray for a miracle heal my Ginger Lynn tonight..

  14. Its a beautiful poem.. but i think there is a small typo - Dear GOD I know she is one of your (instead of you) angels even though she doesn't have wings.

    Thanks for sharing it.
