What do you think of this poem? ?

Question

My new jack russel Milo was left on the road in the cold and wet skinny mistreated with a broken leg and fighting for life. i found out my family member dumped him after gettin bored of him and i went to save him. and i did hes now here a happy healthy good boy :)

heres a peom i have wrote for Milo and also for school aboout dumping christmas pups. what do you think? thanks :)

Promised never to let go.

I remember the christmas morning

all wraped up in pretty red bow

you picked me and promised never to let go.

You held me close and tight warm and true

i licked your face and i knew i loved you!

i was a little ball of fluff

with puppy eyes with full of love.

You treated me as your baby

Hug cuddles and big kisses and silly games

why has that changed why isnt it the same?

You throw me in your car a look of hated abone your face

my broken leg hurts what did i do? im scared !

i know ive grown, loss my fluff and my puppyness

but not my heart to you.

i lie here in the cold night in the rain on the road

im scared where did you go

you promise me never to let go!

Im hungrey ,wet in pain i feel weak.

i know what i will do I'll remeber last week!

in your arms warm by the fire with my master

please come back i can not go on!

im losing my fight for life!

please dont let this be my last night!

My eyes barley open, i see lights

im i in doggy heaven?

i see a young girl with tears in her eyes with sorrow and pity

she picks me up and whispers

I do promise i will never let you go!

And here i am in her lap happy

im a silly jack russel chappy

i look in her eyes and feel warm

i know she will never let me go!

please listnen to my story when you get a pup

never ever ever let them go!

That poem is beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes.

There are way to many pups that get dumped after christmas because people get tired of caring for them and it is just wrong.

There should be more doggy owners like you in the world.

It makes me so angry that people buy puppys 4 their kids 4 chrissy and they dog ends up getting neglected once the novelity has worn off.

I think it is a wonderful poem, and it made me cry.  I think it is great that Milo has you to take care of him.  I think you also make a great point about people who get puppies, and then when things get tough they just throw the puppy away.  I wonder how many other Milo's there are out there.  I think you shoud submitt this poem when people want to give puppies as a gift.

It is so true!!!! I tried to rescue a dumped Cat tonight. Could not catch it.... But I tried. I just don't know why people get these animals in the first place.

i argee what a beautiful inspiring poem makes me have tears to my eyes dogs are wonderful creatures and i will definetly never let my golden retriever go he is my big baby and always will be you have a spectalor talent with dogs and knowingly knowing how they feel and u have a good heart with them . so it is a truly remarkable poem i will never forget how dogs are the most wonderful and knowing animals out of any animals each and every one of them so take care
