  1. yes.

a nobody, let alone a doctor, married to a doctor!

this deceased seven-year olds' dad obviously isn't on the government payroll!

    G McCann is.

( something to do with x-ray equipment in hospitals & how damaging they are to the radiographers using them.

I think the term is a government advisor )

  2. There is a huge difference in the two cases. The little girl who tragically died on the quad bike was the victim of of an accident,a one off event that yes the parents should never have let happen.Nevertheless it was a one off.

Maddie McCann on the other hand was systematically and deliberately neglected and left to fend for herself and her two siblings on a nightly basis.Even though their tiny daughter had found the where with all to ask her mother "mummy where were you last night when we were crying" both "parents" just shrugged it off and left her alone yet again. They said that they had put in place a strict regime of checks but later stated that they weren't even wearing a watch.

  3. reactionary moron who is conflating two completely unrelated and different events

those sort of people just want someone to hate and the mccanns fit the bill

    pitiful really

  4. Yes he does have a point , if one of us cleared off down the pub left our  children in their beds and something dreadful happened we would be arrested , and rightly so.

  5. First, I wish the writer would use the occasional comma - I was getting breathless reading her question.

All joking aside, to a certain extent, I do see her point.

In this case, although the father was wrong to let his child ride the bike, he was thinking he was making her happy ...obviously not realising the danger.

The McCann's were only thinking of themselves when they abandoned their children, and they didn't even get charged for neglect. Where's justice?

  6. It is a fair comment.......

  7. Yes a very valid point. I have always believed if the McCanns were Mr & Mrs shell suit from a council estate they would have been charged too. I guess money really does talk :)

  8. It's a difficult one.  Clearly, this man did not think things through properly and was clearly acting irresponsibly but, his intention was not to kill his daughter.  I am sure that all of us at some stage have done something really stupid but for the grace of god, got away with it without incident but perhaps afterwards realised how silly they were and what the consequences could have been.  A lesson learnt.

The McCanns is completely different.  Their case was one of wilful neglect.  They would have had a discussion about their intentions of leaving their babies and somehow (beyond most people's comprehension) came to the conclusion that this would be acceptable.  This was NOT an accident. The McCanns beggar belief.  They neglected their children- and not for the first time.  Their only problem was getting caught out by someone who took advantage of their sheer stupidity and arrogance - assuming they no hand in it themselves of course.  Incidentally, Shannon Matthew's mother is still in prison - smacks of a class issue.

  9. The writer has some points.  Why does governments feel that in every case they have to make someone pay a criminal penalty.  Isn't there any such thing as an accident anymore?  The father has to live with what he did for the rest of his life.  Charging him with a crime is meaningless compared to that.  The only cases where these accidents should have criminal charges added is when there is intent to harm.

  10. YAAAWN!!

  11. I just answered that one... I think she's just a backwards snob!

  12. Yes I do think the writer has a point!!

It was neglect on the father leaving the child go down the road on a quad and it was definetly neglect with the McCanns letting their children in the apartment while they fed themselves etc.......

  13. It is hard to take her seriously when she can't spell her way out of a shoe box.

  14. He has a point, and that is my main problem with Yahoo.Just because someone has a different point of view on a topic, why are they reported? If someone doesn't like my opinion, that's OK,it's called Democracy for a reason.

  15. I think both are cases of neglect, although through completely different scenarios.

  16. It doesn't say what the father does for a living, all he says is he guesses the dad isn't a Dr. He might be wealthier than Dr's for all I know.

Edit: should have added I feel for anyone who's lost a child, it has to be the worst emotion for anyone.

  17. Hmmmm well I .... Hmm OKAY then

  18. hhhhmmmm....my thoughts....i think the writer has below average intelligence....limited use of the english language, and , judging by their grammer and lack of any punctuation, probably never obtained any qualification pertaining to english.

  19. Separate issues!
