What do you think of this set-up?

It looks interesting, especially the fact that they are amping each speaker. Any pros or cons would be appreciated. Also I would probably replace the receiver with the onkyo tx-sr 605

how far apart are each?? for better sound put some closer to the seatings (if there are formal seatings) but other than that. it looks cool!

Honestly i think its junk. Those sherwoods are recivers not amps. Its kind of a waste, They are designed to do everything that your surround sound reciver does except for stereo and they are cheap. not inexpensive cheap, i used to work there and trust me they die,,,,,,,alot also with these yes they are listed at 105 watts per channel but it will not play with 105 watts per channel driving both channels it will be significantly less then that as it does not use a high current amp (like the 605 from onkyo). secondly those speakers are lousy. Pioneer makes good receviers and not so good speakers. The sub is ok...but for fifty or a hundred bucks you can get somthing that will blow that out of the water. the only decent part of this set up is the equpment. Although it is several years old if you use the new models of this equipment then you will be impressed. Your best bet is to go with a good onkyo recevier (like your 605) and if you want to amp your speakers then by stereo amps!!!!!!!! onkyo makes one of those as well and it is availible from circuit city.com as for speakers look at boston acoustics and look at polk subs. you will be much better off with that setup then the one in avtruths.com and it will last you much much much longer

It Sucks Id Suggest Get A Yamaha 4 Stereos That Doesn't Work Because Yuo Have 3 Signals Rear Center and Front Going Into 3 Seperate Systems From the one, The three Will Transmit All Those Signals As Front Signals Not Rear Or Center So THat Is A Sucky System
