Thank you for sharing this.  I'm going to pass it on.  

IMO one of the biggest points is made right in the beginning - conservation is fine but does NOT excuse the apathy, the lack of further action, the lack of citizenship on the issue that we're seeing.  Make the politicians change the laws.  Make this issue what you vote on.
