What do you think of this tattoo?

im thinking of getting this tattoo of a scorpion on my ankle but im not quite sure. please tell me what you think:

I like it i think you should have it a little bit smaller though.

or maybe have it outlined only,with swirl patterns inside or something...It just looks a little bit too big an bold on your pictures... but if thats what you like then gr8 but id proberbly make it a little bit more girlie!

I like it, and the size, but have you tried different shoes with it? That may effect size and placement, and you'd want that figured out ahead of time.

?so, you're doing the laundry, drinking ?vodka?, and drawing scorpions on you ankle,... you don't need a party to enjoy yourself!?

It just looks tacky. Keep in mind that black tattoos don't do very well when done on feet. They tend to turn globby and the lines don't look as crisp. Other than that, it's just a pretty awful tattoo...sorry. It lacks creativity and just looks kind of trashy. How many other people have the same or almost the same tattoo? probably thousands.

my personal view is no. Remember it maybe a good idea now but what about in 20 or 30 years time. I prefer ladies who have a more delicate  tattoo.

I will be honest. The tattoo seems like something an emo would get. If you are emo now when you are 75 I don't think you will be. You also want a tattoo that has a meaning. Like not just something you like the look of. So if the scorpian has a meaning (symbal, sign of a loved one, etc) I think it would be great! It tells a great story and when people ask you why you got the tattoo you can't say it was just a phase.

Just giving you my total opinion, remember this is going to be on you the rest of your life. Your the one who has to like it, so why are you asking us?

I like it...maybe you could shrink it and put some design around it? Swirls or something to give it some character?

Looks real and the drawing is good enough to pass as a real tattoo i think.

You've answered your own question. If you have any doubts at all about getting a tattoo, then it's obvious that you shouldn't get it. It's not something you can change in a month or two so you have to be 110% sure. No amount of advice as to whether or not I like the design or somebody else thinks it's "cool" is relevant - only you can decide whether you should have something tattooed on you for life.

The tattoo is nice, the area I'm not sure of. I suppose it's okay since it's such a big tattoo you couldn't really get it anywhere else. I would say on your back but that's becoming very common now!

A little plain but not bad- I'm designing something similar for my wife's boss (interestingly, she was stung on the ankle by a scorpion on vacation and wants a tat there to "commemorate" it) finer line work would make the design cleaner- kinda tough to do from that angle though.
