What do you think of this vow?

This is my vow to my husband:

I am truly blessed to have found the truest of love with you, and today I commit my life to yours. I pledge to love you for all time, and to stay faithful and true to you. I will comfort you in your pain and encourage you with your dreams. Love has given us wings and I promise to you that I will forever be by your side and in your heart, wherever the wind may carry you.

(I thought it was fitting since he is leaving for the marines very soon).

What can we do for his vow (we are writing our vows together) that is slightly different from that yet still maintains a sense of unity?

my husband is a marine and you never truly get used to the life as a marine wife but it can be easy if you let it be.  i will tell you your vow is beautiful. Have him say something along the lines of here with you or thousands of miles away(because there will most of the time be many miles between you in your marriage as my dad used to say marines get deployed everyday). our love will always be strong, there will be hard times easy times good times bad times but i know we have the love to make it through anything, and that i will always be here for you in any possible way. I want to be with you forever and show you that forever will be wonderful as long as i am with you.

I think its good but i think it can be abit more..whats the word im looking for? i guess "less normal" what i mean by that is the words are abit out-dated, its sounds the same as most vows do, theres nothing speical about it. But thats just me, if your happy with it then go ahead.

I like it, but I would add a personal touch that would make him smile inside, remind him of a specific memory...

for his you should still include that you promise to always stay true to each other, that he will always love you, comfort you,, etc just be creative.. you can use yours as a guide.. try to make them as similar as possible without repeating yours..

I think it is beautiful, my one and only comment would be that you have used the words truly, truest and true within the first two lines.  I'd maybe try alternative words so that they don't sound too similar.  It's a very minor thing but I picked it up on the first read.

I would add "and until you return" or "and until the wind carries you back to me" or something like that to the last line. I don't know. But good luck - guys are usually really different after they go through training in the Marines, and the war.
