This is a Demetrios Cosmobella dress from 2 seasons ago so it's on sale and the price is amazing. I kind of fell in love with it, the only problem is that my wedding is still very far away (over a year) and I'm not sure if I should buy a dress this early on. But the price is far less than what I was expecting to pay so I'll have more money for other things. What do you think of it? Thanks for the input!!!

  1. I do like the dress, however.....

I had a similar dress meaning it looks fantastic when it's standing still and pressed....but once I had to kneel and sit during the cermony (Catholic), my dress got all wrinkled and I was kind of upset!  If you're okay with it crinkling and not looking like it does in the photo, then go for it!  By the time the reception came, I really didn't care!!  But, I did want it to look picture perfect during the ceremony and it got wrinkly when I had to kneel a million times!

If the price is right, go for it!!  I had my dress for TWO years before I got married...and still loved it even after all that time!  If you know, you know! :)

  2. If you feel in your heart that this is THE dress, then by all means get it!  It is simply stunning -- and just think, you get to look at it for an entire year while you make your plans.  Definitely stay on a healthy eating plan, work out, and if you get the urge to indulge, just look at that dress.

    Best Wishes.

  3. I think it's beautiful. A year isn't that far ahead to get a dress, as long as you are engaged and have a date - you are good to go!

  4. wow.... that wedding dress is beautiful. you will look like princess if you wear that. it's perfect buy it.

  5. get it.. if the price is right ... the only thing is will yopu still adore it a year after??? i'd get it because suppose you dont find anything you like or can afford. you'd be one mad cow lol.. i'd get it. if you made your mind that thats the dress , because most women know when thats the dress!!! and its on sale. i say go for it.  good luck

  6. The dress is very beautiful.  I love the classic lines.  It's very classy.

  7. I like everything about it except for the halter straps.  It's just a matter of personal tastes, though.

If you love it and the price is right, then go for it.

    Congrats on your engagement.

  8. Ask a person working wherever it is when the sale is going to end, and until then keep looking. If you find a better dress, buy it (unless you don't want to, of course), but if you don't, you can still get the dress on sale.

  9. Fabulous!!!!

  10. I like it. It looks like a princess. I like the halter neckline-- much prettier than strapless.

If you love it, get it!

  11. it looks liek it would be really pretty standing but stiff to move in.  I originaly wanted a halter and learned that they dont fit the way you think they will. have you tried this on in person. I dont think you should get your wedding dress online if you havent.  Some good advice i got was that is you keep wanting to put the dress on, keep wanting to touch it and smile when ever you see your self in it then its the one. You cant find those things out online. Im also on a tight budget but i ended up pay ing more for my dress than i wanted because it was the one.  But i was somewhat pratical the gown was on sale for $800! Im not much of a girly girl but i do think that your dress is something you have to feel right in. and you can get that feeling online not to mention that what looks good on a model doesnt always look good on you.  When i tried on what was originaly my dream dress i had seen online it looked horrible on me.  no matter how far away the wedding is when you find the dress youl know. And there are always sales and things at big stores and small boutiqes. If you put in teh leg work youll find it.

  12. I think it's lovely and if you've fallen in love with it then by all means buy it.  However, if you do buy it now then don't keep looking.  If you do you might find another dress that you fall in love with then you'll be stuck.  On the other hand............ if you pass it up you may not find another one you love as much and you'll regret not purchasing it.  Only you can decide which route is the best for you.  I know this is a hard decision but with what ever you chose don't look back and don't second guess yourself after it's done.

    Good luck.

  13. It's lovely . . . and if it is your dream dress, I think you should go ahead and purchase it.

  14. buy it its beautiful. spend the left over money on other things..good choice!

  15. Very pretty. You should get it!

  16. Gah Gah Gah.... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..... Love that low cut look that shows wonderful cleavage and draws your eye right to your soft and tender bosom.  The men will have the tongues wagging like dogs, and your husband will be the envy of the bash.  Only thing is that he will only be thinking of you being out of that dress!!!   Wooooooffffff!!

  17. if u can't wear it in a year then donate it and get the tax write off. its gorgeous!

  18. Try it on first, but if you love it- why not?

  19. i don't like it but is your wedding and if you like it just wear it no matter what people say or think.

  20. buy it! its beautiful. they could take it off the market and then you could never have! ahh(:

  21. I think it's absolutely gorgeous and classy. It's not overdone but not too simple either. I love the detailing.
