Start the matches with armature take downs.

Very few punches, more close lines and chops and suflexs.

Lots of mat wrestling and holds. (Boston Crabs, Camel Clutches)

Save the off the top rope moves and high spots for the last quarter of the match.

Almost no brawling outside the ring.

  1. I am not a big fan of the mat wrestling or submission holds, I am also not a huge fan of the outside brawling. Most likely, every match starts with amateur takedowns, but I think the smartest wrestler uses the top rope moves and high spots atleast sometime in the match.

I am not that kind of wrestler, but I think that is more of what the better wrestlers do.

For example, William Regal, he is so dominant and this is mainly his style(except for the top rope moves).

  2. lance storm

  3. sound's like scott steiner.

  4. it's ok

  5. Someone else answered the same as I was just thinking, except for the top rope part, you just described Scott Steiner to a tee.  You could also throw in Kurt Angle or anyone else with an amateur wrestling style (Finlay, Regal, Jericho, either of the Hardy's, MVP, etc...).

  6. Kane

  7. It sounds like you're describing Chris Benoit. Change the "[l]ots of mat wrestling and holds" to sporadic holds and you're on to something.

  8. It sounds ok but i would have to see it for myself to find out
