Lynna - looks like you'd pronounce it Lynn-a.  don't care for it.

Betty is an old woman's name, also makes me think of Betty Rubble.

Selina makes me think of Selena, who was murdered by her fan club president

betty reminds me of the show Ugly Betty or some really old show like i love lucy, for some reason

selina reminds me of that hispanic singer who has that movie named after her.

Lynna is nice, hate the spelling though.  It looks like it would be pronounced Lynn-a and I hate Lynn.  I'd love it if it was spelled as Lina.  I love Selina and Betty seems really dated, but it's nice as a nickname for Elizabeth.

Lynna- smart, kind, popular, athletic (thin, but fit), medium skin tone w/ medium brown hair and green or hazel eyes.

Betty- Older woman (60-ish), kind, white or grayish hair w/ blue eyes, fair skin, few extra pounds, but not really enough to be considered obese.  My aunt's name.  Her real name is Elizabeth but she goes by Betty.

Selina- sweet, somewhat popular, tall and thin, lightly tanned skin w/ light or medium brown hair and brown eyes.

But, Lean na, or Lynna, as you say, reminds me of a perky girl.

Betty reminds me of a grandmother, or betty crocker, someone in the kitchen.

Selina reminds me of Selina the Singer, who was BEAUTIFUL!  

Selina sounds the most 'pretty' to me, it seems to be exotic almost.

when i see Lynna, i would pronounce it Lin-nah. Lena is how i would spell it. Lena is a tall, slender, dark hair girl with grace and poise, smart, confident and talented in dance or music.

Betty is a friendly, humorous, light hearted, easy going person, a little short and maybe a little overweight. probably brown hair.

Selina is a pretty, bubbly, dark haired girl, popular, happy, nice smile, smart and probably a cheerleader.

Elisabeth is classic, very classy, easy to pronounce and spell, and has so many diferent subvariants for nicknames - Elle, Elly, Eli, Lisa, Liza, Liz, Lizzy, Beth, Betty, Libby...

This name, while pretty in it's own right, sounds very... well, white trash. The kind of name you would hear a large toothless woman yell from a trailer.

2] Betty

The first thing that came to mind when I read this name was Betty Page, the pin-up model. She was glamorous and s**y, without being down right S****y (at least, in some of her pictures she came off that way...there were others....)

3] Selina

I thought of that Jennifer Lopez movie based on the singer who was murdered. Since I saw that movie, the name always screams latino sequins and lip liner.

My favorite is Betty, classic but not too common these days. Lynna is my least favorite. Odd names like that are hard to pull off, especially for girls. You have to have the right look to pull off an odd name. Movie stars can afford to give their kids the right look, though.
