    I lived in Naples for 3 years cause of my husband's work,he is a Carabiniere and was sent in naples in2003 couse of Camorra's wars!

    I love that city and at first I was afraid of living there. That's stupid to think that's dangerous. I travel a lot around the world and every city can be dangerous,

    people from naples are so nice and friendly,but there are a lot of poor people!!!!!!

    So when I think about naples i thing to beautiful places,wonderful buildings,sea, pizza,spaghetti and lot of friends!

  4. Crime. I work with a couple of italians and they have all told me to keep my valuables closer while in Naples than in any other city.

  7. naples at night is beautiful.. but it is a rough area.. i would not reccomend being alone .. i love it there.. there is so much there..

  11. Liberty Port ! I roamed all over Naples when I was there on the USS Vulcan AR-5 in 1979 , I fondly remember Inez and Lucianna who owned a little bar back away from most of the bars that the drunks on my ship frequented , They treated me like a son , made sure I ate well while there and they even wept when I had to depart ! I dont think I ever spent a dime ,they would not take it !

    I really liked the people there and will always remember their kindness !

  12. I think of old buildings on narrow curvy roads.  Lots and lots of people.  Good pizza.  La cosa Nostra.  Vesuvio on the horizon.  Vespas.

    My husband's from Verona and he won't even let me go through Naples alone.
