What do you think people will do after 2012, and the world doesn't end?

Once 2012 comes and goes, and particle accelerators haven't destroyed, Nibiru stays imaginary, and space aliens don't conquer the planet, what do you think people will be saying?

What about the 2012 *official* website? Do you think that will be taken down, or devoted to another bogus cause?

The they'll calm down and begin talking about it - at great length,

and greater waste of band-width..

Wasn't comet Hale Bopp going to kill us all, except for 37 true believers back in 1997? It didn't even get as close to us as the Sun! Well, at least they stopped spouting about.

I'm betting on the next story being Apophis and it hitting us in some year about 20 years from now (probably not the one that currently is predicted as the closest approach.

As has already been said - there is always a catastrophe waiting to happen and a conspiracy about it being covered up.

Maybe Discovery can sell Supervolcano to History Channel and start a scare about Yellowstone... probably being caused by Apophis's close approach (what am I saying - I'm giving them ideas - aarrgghhhh!)
