What do you think ..???

Question

I've started taking a birth control pill called Aviane. I've been on this pill for about 3 days now. I take it every night at around 11:30 ish at night before I go to bed. I had no side effects so far but today I had a slight pain on the left side of my stomach.

I also had diarrhoea at around 6ish tonight. Its been about 18 hours since I took the pill so I'm wondering if the diarrhoea I had could be because of the pill I took last night.

What do you think??

The rule of thumb is to try a new BC pill for 3 months before switching to a new one. It takes time for the hormones to settle in your system. Unless the side effects are dangerous, I would try to work your way through it.  IF they get to bad to handle, call your doctor and ask if there is anything you can do in the mean time to help with the side effects. Then if they think they are not normal, then they will advise you on what to do.

it could be. u should talk to your doctor incase. they can switch you to a better pill that wont cause u any problems.
