I found this quote on a website under Friendship quotes. I'm just curious as to what others think the best interpretation of it is...

  1. i think it means you can't be scared when you're making friends. don't give in to peer pressure. and friends aren't to fit in. you shouldn't be scared of society, you should embrace it and stand up for what you think. and that's when you see who your real friends are :)


  2. I don't know how that would relate to friendship, but to me it means "stay in control".  If "they" scare you, then "they" control you.

    It might also refer to public speaking.
