1) Do you think it happened as presented?

2) Do you think it was a mind control experiment (mk-ultra)?

3) How do you explain some inconsistancy in the story? And why were there no autopsies performed?

4) Did Jim Jones actually die there? What was the flavor of kool-aid and why did the original body count differ so much from the actual body count and what about the shootings?

  1. Yes,

I saw the unbelievable video on the evening news.

Just indescribably the horror I felt upon see the

whole ground just littered with bodies for what looked

like about an acre.  THAT was real

They couldn't do autopsies because with that many dead

corpses laying around, the chances for disease is very

high, so they got a couple of bulldozers and buried the

    bodies in a mass grave.

Its' speculated that those victims that refused to

drink the Kool-Aid were executed with a bullet by

Jone's lieutenants.  As far as the body count, there

were I know, some members of the compound that got

back to the U.S. before the mass MURDER. (I don't

really believe that many people drank the Kool-Aid

    willingly).

  2. i think its one of the most horrific things that has ever happened in our country and trust me Guyana is in a bad situation right now. But the worst thing of all is that our country will always be remembered for that. some people dont know the history of Jim Jones but they assume he was a Guyanese and thats what offends us the most.

1.Yes, I even believe that worst happened. There are survivors who told their story. Notes were found from the non-survivors. Tapes were found.

2.And yes it was a mind control experiment. I guess he wanted to see how he can control people and what to what length would this take him.

3.I really dont understand this question. There were autopsies, medical examinations done by a Guyanese Doctor, Dr.Mootoo.he saw needle marks on their skin also. US doctors examined only seven bodies which included Jim Jones.i think the US detectives and doctors should have gotten more involved because at the time Guyana's technology wasnt that advanced and forensic science wasnt its best.we would have known more if US officials did examine more bodies..

    4. yes he did die there. they found him sittin on a chair with a gunshot wound to his head. the flavor of the kool-aid was grape.the shooting was at Port Kaituma Air Strip. it lasted about five minutes. approx. five died including a US congressman.im sorry i really cant say anything about the body countings.

there is a documentary by either.the National Geographic Channel or the Discovery Channel on this .if u havent looked at it you should. it will help u understand it better.

  3. Hey, it happened a long time ago. Our government should be working on fuel prices, foreclosures, social security and other important problems that need to be solved. Jim Jones and the People's Temple members are still dead today.
